Voor een opdrachtgever in de regio Den Haag zoeken we een interim Cloud Engineer Azure.
Beschrijving aanvraag
In order to support the development and delivery of a new Cloud native application, the Quant Development team within the Group Risk Management department has budget for hiring an external Cloud engineer for Microsoft Azure. The Cloud Engineer will support the development and design of the new application and/or the existing applications in the portfolio of the team. The project is starting immediately and is expected to last until the end of 2021.
Omschrijving werkomgeving (afdeling/project)
The resource will be a member of the Quant Development Infrastructure DevOps team. The team is responsible for the further development and maintenance of a number of Cloud applications. The applications are computationally intensive and extensively used within NN Group. The work consists in constantly improving the applications by developing new features. The work also consists in optimizing the Cloud costs, enhancing the monitoring, and further developing the deployment pipelines.
Beschrijving opdracht
Deliver a high quality software running in the Cloud taking into account performance, user experience, security, costs, and overall maintainability.
Your main responsibilities will include:
· Contribute to further development of the NN Risk Systems, where Cloud is a key part of the overall strategy
· Contribute to further improve the architecture of the Cloud risk applications
· Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to further automate testing and deployments
· Write high quality C# code, including unit and regression tests
· Work in an agile DevOps team with tools and technologies such as Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET, Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud services, (ASP) .NET (Core), SQL, Entity Framework (Core), Git, JIRA, ReSharper, RESTful API, SonarQube
Specifieke kennis en vereisten
Microsoft Azure certifications are welcome
The candidate should have proven previous experience in developing and running Cloud applications in .NET, SQL and Microsoft Azure.
Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Dutch is advantageous
DevOps experience with Microsoft Azure, development experience in .NET and SQL.
A hands on engineer with a practical approach to problem solving and excellent communication skills is what we are looking for.
